REGISTRATION IS OPEN FOR OREGON STATE UNIVERSITY’S (OSU) FULL DAY WORKSHOP TO EXPLORE PESTICIDE SOLUTIONS FOR ENDANGERED SPECIES PROTECTIONS IN AGRICULTURE IN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST

Oregon State University (OSU) in conjunction with Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) and Compliance Services International (CSI) is offering four full day stakeholder workshops to explore pesticide solutions and endangered species protection in agriculture in the Pacific Northwest. Funding for the workshop is through a Western Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Grant entitled “Implementation of Endangered Species Act Pesticide Mitigations: Developing Localized Solutions for Diverse Cropping Systems in Washington and Oregon,” and the principal grant lead and cooperators are as follows:

OSU will be offering the workshop in two Washington and two Oregon locations on the dates indicated below. They will potentially hold a fifth workshop in Vancouver, Washington dependent on the availability of a venue.

• March 26th – Blue Mountain Community College, Hermiston, OR
• March 28th – WSU Mt. Vernon, Mt. Vernon, WA
• April 12th - Hal Holme Center Ellensburg, WA
