MEXICO APPROVES TWO ADDITIONAL POINTS OF ENTRY FOR FRESH POTATO SHIPMENTS FROM THE UNITED STATES

0.0/5 rating (0 votes)

As of November 17, 2022, U.S. registered fresh potato exporters can ship to the full Mexican market through two new locations: Nuevo Laredo and Reynosa, Tamaulipas. This is part of an operational plan authorized and signed by the United States (US) and Mexico that initially approved four points of entry into Mexico. Thereafter, the plan calls for SENASICA, Mexico’s version of USDA APHIS, to annually approve and open two additional points of entry.

Six Mexican Ports Open For US Potato Shipments

  1. Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua
  2. Tijuana, Baja California
  3. Nogales, Sonora
  4. Mexicali, Baja California
  5. Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas
  6. Reynosa, Tamaulipas
