Hash Brown Sausage Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 20-ounce bag Simply Potatoes O'Brien Hash Browns
  • 1 pound turkey sausage
  • 1 large jalapeño, deveined and deseeded
  • 2 cups Bisquick
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mild cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Add olive oil to a skillet over medium heat. Add hash browns and cook for 7 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  2. In a bowl, combine sausage, jalapeño, Bisquick, eggs, cheese, cooked hash browns, and salt. Mix using your hands to ensure it’s well incorporated. Using a spoon or cookie scoop, create 2-inch balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  3. Bake for 20 minutes, until browned.
