Cheeseburger Poutine
Ingredients
- 1 lb frozen French Fries
- 2 tbsp canola oil
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup mustard
- 2 tbsp diced dill pickles
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 tomato, diced
- 2 tbsp minced onions
Directions
Cook French fries according to package directions.
Heat oil in large skillet over medium high; cook beef, salt and pepper until golden brown and cooked through.
Preheat broiler to high; arrange rack in middle oven. Arrange French fries on parchment paper–lined baking tray. Top with ground beef, bacon and Cheddar; broil for 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese starts to soften and melt.
Meanwhile, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard and pickles.
Sprinkle lettuce, tomato and onions over poutine. Drizzle with sauce.
Tip: Substitute barbecue sauce for mayo/mustard/ketchup sauce if desired.
