WSPC Commissioner and National Potato Council Board Member Grant Morris has been appointed to the EPA Pesticide Policy Dialogue Committee (PPDC). The PPDC is a forum tasked with providing advice, information, and recommendations to the EPA’s Office of Pesticide Programs (OPP). Collaboratively, they discuss the development of a variety of regulations and reform initiatives on pesticides, public policy, pesticide program implementation issues, and issues surrounding policy that evaluates and aims to reduce the risk of using pesticides. Currently, OPP’s work surrounding endangered species, pollinators, climate change, and environmental justice are included in the evolving policy issues.
