As of January 1, 2024, owners and operators in Washington are required to conduct periodic leak inspections, report findings, and keep on-site records. ALL refrigeration and air conditioning units containing 50 or more pounds of refrigerant with a global warming potential (GWP) over 150 are included in RMP. In addition, registration of equipment and submission of periodic reports will be required of equipment owners and operators through the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Management Platform (RAMP). Registration requirements for RAMP will be decided upon the largest piece of equipment in your facility. More information and contact details are below:
