KEY POTATO INDUSTRY PLAYER, FRANK TIEGS, PASSES AWAY AT AGE 66

The Tiegs family is sad to report that Frank passed away last week, on February 8^th.  Frank was born in Nampa Idaho but made the Tri Cities his home and headquarters for his many business enterprises.  His farms, processing facilities, land holdings, and developments, were all important components to the local and PNW economy.    In addition to his many businesses, Frank will also be remembered for his passion for the automotive world.  Viewing his collection of cars was a real treat for anyone who shared his passion for cars.   

Frank was very thoughtful and supportive of strategic WSPC activities, like investing in potato research and opening new markets for potatoes and potato products.  Frank chose to have a low profile in the industry and avoided accolades.  His impact in the potato industry is far reaching.  Our warm thoughts and prayers are with Frank’s family and close friends.
