SUPPLY CHAIN RESILIENCE FEATURED AT 2022 USDA AG OUTLOOK FORUM
0.0/5 rating (0 votes)

Virtual Event February 24-25, 2022

The Covid-19 Pandemic exposed vulnerabilities in the supply chain that led to severe bottlenecks and surges in food prices. USDA’s Agricultural Outlook Forum features a track on supply chain disruptions, their impacts on the agrifood sector, and strategies to increase food systems resilience.

Listen to public and private sector experts discuss factors behind the shipping disruptions and alternative strategies to mitigate their impacts on the ag sector.

Hear from producers and extension experts on how they use data to grow businesses and create more connected supply chains.

Learn from academics about new tools to help global supply chains weather the impacts of climate-related supply chain disruptions.

Sessions under this track include:

Effects of Shipping Disruptions on U.S. Agriculture (February 24, 1:30-3:00 p.m.)

Buffering Supply Chain Shocks -- Turning Climate Science into Action (February 24, 3:30 – 5:00 p.m.)

Leveraging Data to Build Resilient Local and Regional Food Systems (February 25, 10:00 -11:30 a.m.)

Learn more about the supply chain resilience track and the full program at the Agricultural Outlook Forum website. Registration is free but required. Register today.
