NRCS-WA TO HOST WEBINAR ON REGIONAL CONSERVATION PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM

0.0/5 rating (0 votes)

The Natural Resources Conservation Service in Washington (NRCS-WA) will host a webinar for partners, producers, and employees to discuss the Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP), June 28 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. PST.

During the webinar, the program itself, eligibility, and how to apply under the FY 2023 Notice of Funding Opportunity, will be discussed. It will be especially useful for Washington state organizations, institutions, conservation districts, land trusts, Indian Tribes, and other groups interested in partnering with NRCS-WA through RCPP. The webinar is timely because the application period for RCPP is now open through Aug. 18.

RCPP leverages a voluntary approach to conservation that expands the reach of conservation efforts and climate-smart agriculture through public-private partnerships. In addition to the funding opportunity, NRCS has embarked on a concerted effort to streamline and simplify RCPP and improve the experience for partners, producers, and employees.

For those who cannot attend the event, recordings previous webinars are available online on this webpage under the title “RCPP Informational Webinar Series” halfway down the page.
