FREE WEBINAR IN SPANISH FOR HOW TO USE PESTICIDES SAFELY

On November 30, 2023, the Washington Invasive Species Council, King County Noxious Weeds, the Washington State Noxious Weed Control Board, and the Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) has partnered to offer a free online live webinar on how to safely use pesticides for Spanish speaking pesticide users. The webinar will go from 1:00-4:00 p.m. and taught by Spanish speaking professionals to cover three pesticide safety topics. Three pesticide recertification credits can be earned for attendees with a WSDA or ODA pesticide license. Attendees can earn one credit for every verified hour of attendance and license holders need to attain 20-40 credits to avoid re-testing. A pesticide license is not required to attend.
