0.0/5 rating (0 votes)

CalanthaTM is a new insecticide based on RNA technology that is effective against Colorado Potato Beetle.  It is in the registration process, but an Experimental Use Permit has been issued, and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency regulatory approval is expected this year.  Representatives for the manufacturer, GreenLight Biosciences, are sponsoring a field day open to the potato growers and advisors to learn about CalanthaTM at the Washington State University vegetable research facility at the intersection of Heritage Boulevard and A Street in Pasco (GPS coordinates: 46.226414, -119.060316) to examine the field trial conducted by Dr. Timothy Waters on Tuesday July 25th at 9:00 am.
