WSU EXTENSION CENTER OFFERS WEBINAR ON HOW TO APPROACH SOIL HEALTH PRODUCTS
A free webinar, “How to Approach Soil Health Products,” will take place on December 17, 2025 including discussion from Andy McGuire, Washington State University (WSU) Extension Agronomist, on the importance learning how to critically evaluate the influx soil product claims and when to adhere to time tested products. Farmers, researchers, extension professionals, technical service providers, and those interested in soil health are encouraged to attend. During the webinar, there will be a Q&A session with examples to assist in guiding participants in their soil management choices.
Attendees can expect to:
- Learn how to clearly identify soil health issues,
- Identify marketing red flags and gain insight into how to evaluate soil health products,
- Review established and enduring benefits of cover cropping, composting, no-till farming, and other established soil building practices, and
- Identify what products work and are research backed.
