WSPF AWARDS MULTIPLE SCHOLARSHIPS

The Washington State Potato Foundation (WSPF) is proud to support the next generation of leaders by awarding 28 scholarships totaling $33,100 to deserving students from across Washington State. Scholarship awards ranged from $500 to $2,500, helping students pursue their educational and career goals while recognizing their hard work, leadership, and dedication.

This year, the Foundation received an impressive 53 applications, showcasing the incredible talent, passion, and potential of students connected to Washington’s potato industry and agricultural communities. Selecting recipients was no easy task, as many applicants demonstrated outstanding academic achievement, community involvement, and a strong commitment to agriculture.

Several scholarship recipients are already pursuing degrees and career paths that align closely with the potato industry, including agriculture, agribusiness, plant sciences, engineering, food science, and related fields. The Foundation is excited to invest in these students and looks forward to watching them grow into future leaders, innovators, and advocates for the industry.

Supporting education and workforce development continues to be a key mission of the Foundation. By investing in students today, the Foundation is helping strengthen the future of Washington agriculture and the potato industry for generations to come.
