WSDA OFFERS ONE-ON-ONE INTERNATIONAL MARKET CONSULTATIONS TO EXPLORE NEW EXPORT OPPORTUNITIES
Looking to expand your business into new international markets? The Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) is offering Washington food and agricultural companies an opportunity to meet one-on-one with its international marketing representatives during a series of complimentary export consultations taking place August 10–14, 2026.
Representatives serving Southeast Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines), Korea, Vietnam, Japan, and Mexico/Central America will be available to meet with Washington companies in person to discuss export opportunities and market strategies.
Whether you're exploring exports for the first time or are already selling internationally, these 30-minute consultations provide valuable insights into global markets. Participants can receive guidance on local distribution channels, buyer identification, import requirements, product labeling and packaging, documentation, marketing strategies, and market-specific opportunities. It's also an excellent opportunity to build relationships with the experts who work directly in these markets.

There is no cost to participate, as consultation expenses are covered by WSDA. Registration closes July 31, 2027, at 5:00 p.m., and appointments will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Confirmation emails with meeting details will be sent by August 3, 2026.
To prepare for the meeting, registrants will be asked to provide basic information about their company, products, export experience, and consultation objectives. This information allows the international representatives to tailor the discussion to your business needs.
