The Washington State Potato Foundation (WSPF) is seeking friendly, supportive volunteers to serve as judges for the 2nd Annual Future Farmers of America (FFA) Speaking Contests on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at Springhill Suites in their Vista Room.

This event offers a meaningful opportunity for industry professionals to support Washington high school students as they build confidence, communication skills, and leadership through FFA speaking competitions. No prior judging experience is required, just a willingness to listen, encourage, and help students shine.

Event Details

  • Location: Springhill Suites – Vista Room
  • Date: January 27, 2026

Judging Panels Needed

  • Panel One – Extemporaneous Speaking
    • 4 judges needed
    • Time: 9:00 a.m. – Noon
  • Panel Two – Creed Speaking (Bilingual Spanish)
    • 4 bilingual Spanish-speaking judges needed
    • Time: 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Lunch will be provided for all judges between 12:00 p.m. and 12:30 p.m.
