Growers and pesticide applicators are invited to attend the 27th Annual Noxious Weed Conference, hosted by the Noxious Weed Control Board of Grant County, on February 26, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Wallenstein Performing Arts Center at Big Bend Community College in Moses Lake, Washington.

This one-day event brings together industry experts for practical, field-focused education on invasive weed management and emerging control strategies. Attendees will gain timely insights into identifying invasive and non-invasive grass species, managing difficult weeds such as Russian thistle and kochia, and improving rangeland and post-control outcomes. Sessions will also explore innovative tools including UAV spray applications and alternative grazing approaches for weed suppression.

In addition to the strong technical program, the conference offers 6 WSDA pesticide recertification credits, making it an efficient way for applicators to maintain licensing while sharpening their weed management knowledge.

The conference runs from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and best of all, there is no cost to attend and no pre-registration required.

For more information, contact the Grant County Noxious Weed Control Board at (509)237-4567 or (509)750-4022.
