JOIN THE CONVERSATION ON AIR QUALITY BEST MANAGEMENT PRACTICES

0.0/5 rating (0 votes)

The Franklin Conservation District (CD) was awarded a $700,000 grant for community engagement and program development around air quality Best Management Practices (BMP) implementation in Benton and Franklin Counties. The CD will engage with growers and wrap up meetings by June 2025 with program pilots and BMP implementation support through June 2027. The program implementation will match grower dollars, and several practices can comport with potato production.

The Franklin CD has made available a series of group meetings to discuss applicable BMPs and current barriers to implementation, and what a successful incentive and technical assistance program would look like.
