ATTEND PIZZA FOR PRODUCERS AT THE GRANT COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS ON JANUARY 11, 2025

Join State Representative Tom Dent and State Senator Judy Warnick on January 11, 2025 from 1:00 – 7:00 p.m. as they host Pizza for Producers at the Grant County Fairgrounds in Moses Lake, Washington. Area farmers, farm workers, and agricultural support agencies are invited to take part in Changing Our Mental and Emotional Trajectory (C.O.M.E.T.) Training, pizza pie preparation, and pizza feast with music. Pizza for Producers provides a platform for the agriculture industry in Washington State to come together, share, and seek support in recognition of the unique stressors faced by the industry. This initiative is a suicide prevention program aimed to build community and reduce the stigma of mental health in agriculture. C.O.M.E.T. training is an interactive experience that teaches participants how to reach out to co-workers, friends, and acquaintances struggling between wellness and mental health crisis in a meaningful, supportive, and respectful way.
