APPLICATIONS FOR AGFORESTRY LEADERSHIP PROGRAM ARE OPEN UNTIL MARCH 31, 2025

Washington Agriculture and Forestry Education Foundation (AFEF) is recruiting for their 46th Class of the AgForestry Leadership Program aimed at developing influential decision makers and advocates in the agricultural industry. The program will have three modules spanning over 18 months focusing on personal leadership, leadership in public policy, and leadership and systems thinking. The modules will include 13 seminars in total and 11 seminars will be three-day in state seminars, one seminar in Washington D.C., and two seminars internationally.

Tuition for each participant is $10,000.00. Applicants can contact AgForestry for information on scholarships and tuition support. In addition, participants will be responsible for their travel costs, some meals, passport, and costs to meet international travel requirements.

To be eligible for the program:

  • Applicants must be 25 years of age and have lived or worked in Washington State for at least one year.
  • Have approved the required time to attend seminars with their employer. Please see the Class 46 Schedule here.
  • For the duration of the program, be employed in agriculture, forestry, or related natural resource industry.
  • Meet all application requirements.
