Under Chapter 173-167 WAC, the Department of Ecology (Ecology) has adopted an Emergency Drought Funding Rule to continue the Drought Response Grant for eligible public entities within the Yakima Basin Watersheds.

Potato growers across Washington State are invited to take part in an important new survey focused on decision support systems for insect pest management. The survey is part of a USDA-NIFA Specialty Crop Research Initiative (SCRI) project involving researchers and Extension educators across several universities, including Washington State University. This initiative aims to improve tools and decision-making support systems that help growers tackle pest challenges more efficiently and sustainably.

Potatoes USA is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for its 2026 board members. A total of 49 board seats are available, including three-year and two-year terms. All terms will begin in March 2026.
