The Washington State Department of Ecology (Ecology) is launching the Columbia River Drought Insurance Program to assist in providing water for curtailed irrigators during the next Columbia River drought.

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced they are issuing up to $10 billion directly to agricultural producers through the Emergency Commodity Assistance Program (ECAP).
