The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced today that farmers who experienced crop losses due to natural disasters in 2023 and 2024 can now apply for financial assistance through the Supplemental Disaster Relief Program (SDRP). The USDA has allocated $16 billion for this program, part of a broader $30 billion in Congressional disaster assistance approved for agricultural producers this year.
