The Washington State Potato Commission has selected Landau Associates and Tebb & Associates to serve as the Commission’s new Water Specialist team, strengthening efforts to address water availability, reliability, and long-term sustainability for Washington potato growers.

Tebb & Associates, led by former Washington State Department of Ecology Office of Columbia River Director Tom Tebb, has the background to provide strategic policy guidance and stakeholder engagement on key issues such as Columbia Basin Project development, Pasco Basin rulemaking, and new water supply opportunities. Tebb has more than three decades of experience in Washington water policy and regional water supply development.

Landau Associates, a Pacific Northwest environmental and engineering consulting firm, provides technical expertise in water resources planning, hydrogeology, water rights, and regulatory coordination. Supporting this work are Ben Lee, PE, CWRE, a Professional Engineer and Certified Water Rights Examiner who has served on multiple Washington State Department of Ecology advisory groups and brings extensive Columbia Basin water policy experience, and Kaila Anderson, a water resources engineer with technical expertise in groundwater analysis, water supply evaluation, and irrigation planning.

Together, Landau Associates and Tebb & Associates bring a strong combination of policy leadership, technical expertise, and stakeholder coordination to help the Commission proactively address water challenges and support long-term water sustainability for all of Washington’s potato industry.
