WSPC SEEKING CANDIDATES FOR OPEN AT-LARGE COMMISSIONER POSITION

The Washington State Potato Commission (WSPC) is encouraging Washington potato growers and industry stakeholders to take an active role in shaping the future of the state’s potato industry by participating in the upcoming appointment process for two at-large Commissioner positions.

At-Large Position 10, currently held by Ellie Charvet, and At-Large Position 11, currently held by Scott Galbreath, are both up for re-appointment during the Commission’s Quarterly Meeting on Thursday, May 14, 2026. Charvet has indicated his intent to seek reappointment.

These at-large positions play an important role in helping guide industry priorities, research investments, legislative engagement, market development, and long-term strategies that directly impact Washington potato growers. The Commission is seeking individuals who are passionate about the future of the industry and willing to contribute their experience, leadership, and perspective on behalf of growers statewide.

Growers and industry members interested in being considered as a nominee for one of the at-large positions need to complete the Commissioner Interest Form prior to the May 14, 2026 quarterly meeting.
