THE WASHINGTON POTATO COMMISSION JOINS THE MOSES LAKE AIRSHOW

The Washington State Potato Commission joined thousands of attendees at the Moses Lake Airshow on June 12 and 13, serving hot McCain French fries while celebrating one of the region's premier community events. Held at Grant County International Airport, the two-day air show featured world-class aerobatic performers, historic warbirds, military aircraft, STEM activities, and family-friendly attractions. 

Throughout the weekend, the Commission welcomed visitors from across the Pacific Northwest, offering them a taste of McCain's Washington-grown potatoes. Serving fries gave us the opportunity to connect with consumers, answer questions about Washington's potato industry, and highlight the quality and versatility of potatoes grown by Washington farmers. 

As attendees enjoyed incredible performances by the B-29 Doc, the P-38 Lightning Fork-Tailed Devil, the Red Bull Air Force team, and other featured acts, they also had the chance to experience one of Washington agriculture's signature products. The event demonstrated how community partnerships are ways to share the story of Washington potatoes beyond the farm.
