Geordy Bryant GreeneThe Washington State Potato Commission is pleased to welcome Geordy Bryant Greene as our new Director of Government Affairs. In this role, Geordy will lead the Commission’s advocacy efforts on legislative, regulatory, and environmental issues at both the state and federal levels—representing Washington’s potato growers before agencies, legislatures, and trade partners.

Geordy brings a wealth of experience and passion for agriculture and public service. Before joining WSPC, he spent nearly three years in Washington, D.C., working for U.S. Representative Cathy McMorris Rodgers, where he focused on constituent services, communications, and agricultural policy. Most recently, Geordy served with Washington State University’s Office of External Affairs and Government Relations, advancing WSU’s federal priorities and building strong partnerships within the state’s agricultural and research communities.

A proud Washington State University alumnus, Geordy holds a degree in Political Science and is a devoted Cougar football fan—you can count on finding him in Pullman on game days cheering for his team. When he’s not working on behalf of Washington’s potato industry, he enjoys golfing, meeting new people, and exploring Eastern Washington with his fiancée and their dog, Daisy Beans.

Please join us in welcoming Geordy to the Washington State Potato Commission team!
