CONNELL DRIVE YOUR TRACTOR TO SCHOOL DAY 2026

It’s official! Another year of Connell High School’s Drive Your Tractor to School Day has come and gone, and once again it was a huge success. This annual event continues to be a highlight for students, staff, and community members who share a passion for agriculture and the traditions that come with it.

This year, students proudly drove 16 tractors and 4 trucks to school, creating an impressive lineup that showed off both classic and modern farm equipment. The vehicles parked around the school made for a great display and served as a reminder of how important agriculture is to our local community. From older, well-loved machines to newer models, each one represented the pride students take in their agricultural roots.

Events like this not only celebrate farming but also give students a fun and memorable way to show their pride in being part of the agricultural community. It’s always exciting to see the participation grow and the enthusiasm of the students who take part in the event.

Of course, this event wouldn’t be possible without the dedication and hard work of Charlie Dansie. His continued support and effort help make this day happen year after year, and it’s clear how much it means to the students involved. Organizing something like this takes time, planning, and passion, and the success of the day is a testament to that commitment.

For the past three years, we have had the opportunity to bring the Fry Van and serve fries to these amazing kids in Ag. It has become something we truly look forward to every year. Seeing the excitement from the students, visiting with everyone, and being part of such a positive event is always a great experience for us.

We are incredibly thankful for the chance to support this tradition and to celebrate the students who are involved in agriculture. Their enthusiasm, hard work, and dedication to industry are inspiring. Encouraging high school students to stay connected to agriculture is so important, and events like this help keep that passion alive.
