ADAM WEBER ELECTED AS WSPC CHAIR AT ANNUAL WSPC MEETING

The Washington State Potato Commission (WSPC) gathered for the final Commission meeting of the fiscal year and a significant milestone in Commission leadership. This meeting marked the final official Commission meeting for outgoing Chair Josh Bunger of Pasco, WA, as he transitions into the role of Past Chair.

The Commission looks forward to the leadership of incoming Chair Adam Weber, who assumed his role on July 1. The new Executive Committee includes Adam Weber, Chair; Jordan Reed, First Vice Chair; Andrew Hyer, Second Vice Chair; Marvin Wollman, Secretary; Blaine Meek, Treasurer; and Josh Bunger, Past Chair.

The meeting also marked the retirement of Scott Galbreath, who served on the Commission for eight years. The WSPC extends its heartfelt thanks to Scott for his years of commitment, leadership, and service to Washington’s potato industry.

Filling the At-Large position previously held by Scott is new Commissioner Ben Cox of Kennewick. The Commission looks forward to his contributions and perspective as he begins his service representing Washington potato growers.

The WSPC extends its appreciation to Josh Bunger for his leadership as Chair and looks forward to continued progress under the leadership of Adam Weber and the newly elected Executive Committee.
