WSU FILLS VACANT PLANT DIAGNOSTICIAN POSITION

Washington State University recently hired Cassandra Bates to fill the plant diagnostician position that was vacant since October of 2020.  Ms. Bates earned a B.S. degree form U.C. Davis in Animal Biology, and a M.S. from Michigan State University in Nematology/Entomology.  She has worked with the National Plant Diagnostic Network and brings a diverse background in Plant Pathology and Nematology, as well as molecular diagnostic experience.  She is busily outfitting her lab, and will be able to take samples by August 2nd.  For more information e-mail Ms. Bates at This email address is being protected from spambots.
