The Washington State Department of Agriculture is hosting multiple webinars over the next two months on regulatory changes occurring within the Pesticide Management Division. These webinars are open to the public. These changes will have far-reaching impacts and public input is important.

Pesticide License Fee Increases (SB5317)
Effective November 1st, 2021, almost all pesticide license fees will increase. Fee increases include a $7 fee for WSU’s pesticide safety education program. These webinars will provide more details on the license fee increase and the agency’s implementation plans. You will also have opportunity to ask questions. The webinars will be recorded and available later for on-demand viewing.

Rulemaking Updates – Testing Fee/Penalty Matrix - The WSDA Licensing & Recertification and Compliance Programs will cohost these two webinars.

September 16 – 10:00 am-12:30 pm

  • 10:45 am – 12:15 pm – Penalty Matrix (Compliance)

September 23 – 2:30pm-5:00pm (repeat)

Certification and Training (Part 1: Competency Standards and Categories)
