WORKER PROTECTION STANDARD (WSP) TRAIN THE TRAINER COURSE ON JANUARY 18-19, 2023.

January 18-19, 2023, the Washington State Tree Fruit Association along with the Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) will be providing a Worker Protection Standard (WPS) Train the Trainer Course at the Oxford Suites in Yakima, Washington.

 

Become a WSDA Certified Trainer by successfully completing the mock training at the end of the course. WSDA Certified Trainers are qualified to issue worker and handler training verification cards. Licensed individuals will receive nine credits. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. The cost of the course is $125.00, and this registration fee is nonrefundable.

To participate:

  1. Participants will be required to show a current WPS Handler Card signed by a WSDA trainer or
  2. Provide a pesticide application license.

When registering for the course, please provide your language preference (English or Spanish). For this training to be held, a minimum of eight registered people is required for each language session and, if this minimum number is not attained, the course may be canceled.
