WASHINGTON STATE POTATO COMMISSION AND AG INDUSTRY LEADERS TEAM UP WITH FFA TO SHARE POTATO KNOWLEDGE AT BENTON FRANKLIN COUNTY FARM FAIR

     Over the course of two days the Washington State Potato Commission and other agriculture industry leaders teamed up with FFA to educate 4th and 5th grade students from nine different schools at the Benton-Franklin County Farm Fair. WSPC staff shared information on potato growing cycles, nutrition, and the importance of the potato industry in Washington State. Students were eager to learn and enjoyed hot, fresh Washington Fries. It was successful event!
