USDA ANNOUNCED $1 BILLION IN GRANT FUNDING AVAILABLE THROUGH THE RURAL ENERGY FOR AMERICA PROGRAM

The USDA has announced $1 billion in grant funding through the Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) to assist farmers and ranchers in investing in renewable energy systems and making energy efficiency improvements. The funding also includes the $144.5 million available for a new underutilized technology fund, established through the Inflation Reduction Act. USDA began accepting applications on April 1.
