SUPPLY CHAIN SHORTAGES AND BACKLOG OF COLLECTED WASTE LEAD TO POSTPONEMENT OF OCTOBER WSDA COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL ACTIVITIES.

All waste pesticide collection and disposal activities planned for October have been postponed by the Washington Department of Agriculture (WSDA) after notification from the state’s pesticide disposal contractor, Clean Harbors, that they could not accept unusable pesticides for at least three weeks for thermal destruction. This delay is due to supply chain shortages and a backlog of collected waste.
