STARTING JANUARY 15, 2023, AGFORESTRY OPENS APPLICATIONS FOR CLASS 45 OF THE AGFORESTRY LEADERSHIP PROGRAM.

AgForestry is opening the application process for Class 45 of the AgForestry Leadership Program on January 15, 2023. In Washington state, AgForestry is the only program available to develop agricultural, forestry, and natural resources leaders. If there is someone you know that is interested in developing leadership skills in these areas, please take a moment to encourage them to apply and/or send a referral to AgForestry here. Applications for the program will be accepted January 15, 2023 through April 15, 2023.

Applicants are required to attend one of four question and answer sessions on the program to learn more about expectations, costs, scholarships and benefits. During the session, applicants can learn more about the demands of the 18-month program that spans a full two years and incorporates 13 seminars over 58 days.

The Following Steps are to be Completed to Apply:

  1. Attend one of four question and answer sessions.
  2. General Application.
  3. Essay Questions.
  4. Self-Evaluation.
  5. Employer Release and Reference.
  6. Three References.
  7. Signed Memorandum of Understanding.

The Washington State Potato Commission offers a full scholarship of $3,000.00 for two years for one AgForestry participant who works within the potato industry in Washington State.
