MLHS-Fry Day

on Thursday, 07 June 2018. Posted in Blog & News

As part of our ongoing mission to share Washington potatoes throughout the state, we decided to start the summer off in our own town. Today, we parked our new fry trailer right outside Moses Lake High School’s front doors where we handed out free fries, Spud Nation t-shirts, and hats. All three were a huge hit, especially the fries. The line was almost always packed, we ran out of five fry cases within two hours! The t-shirts and hats weren’t far behind the fries in popularity. Gilbert, a junior, and Aidan, a freshman, (featured above) willingly sported them in front of the Spud Nation truck.

We loved getting to celebrate the end of another school year by sharing Washington potatoes with high school students in our community. We are looking forward to continuing to share free fries across Washington. Next up, we will be at the Beer Festival in Redmond starting Friday, June 15 through Sunday, June 17. Be on the lookout for our Spud Nation truck and trailer; you don’t want to miss us!
