INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT WORKSHOP FOR POTATO GROWERS AND FIELD SCOUTS

Washington State University Extension, the Washington State Potato Commission and the Potato Foundation will team up to provide workshops for potato growers and field scoutson June 15th, 1:00-4:00 PM, at the WSU’s Othello Research Unit at1471 West Cox Road, Othello WA.  An additional session will be scheduled forJune 30th  if interest supports it.  The session will start indoors, and include discussions and presentations led by Drs. Tim Waters and Carrie Wohleb of WSU, and Matthew Blua of the WSPC.  Following indoor activities, attendees will be taken outside to a potato field to demonstrate scouting, sticky traps, and potato tuber moth traps.  Each workshop will be limited to 20 attendees.  To sign up for the workshop call WSU Grant County Extension509-754-2011x 4313.  For more information contact Tim Waters (509-554-0152,This email address is being protected from spambots.
