FIGHTING CHILDHOOD HUNGER – POTATOES NEEDED

The Washington State Potato Commission (WSPC) is proud to have partnered with the Snohomish County YMCA to help fight childhood hunger during the summer months when school is not in session.  Summer break means many kids are not getting the hot meals they desperately depend on daily.  In addition, to the monetary donation made by the WSPC, potatoes are also in need.  The WSPC is also looking for 3 pallets of bagged potatoes that can be delivered to one of their larger facilities that will then be distributed by them to the smaller locations that are sometimes overlooked during these months for food donations. If you have potatoes available for purchase or donation, please reach out to Brandy Tucker at 509-765-8845 or This email address is being protected from spambots.
