A NEW APP DELIVERS PESTICIDE LABEL INFORMATION TO YOUR PHONE

A mobile phone application for iPhone and Android phones and tablets called PestiSeguro^TM/PestiSafe^TM  developed by the University of Washington’s Pacific Northwest Agricultural Safety and Health Center is available to download here.  The app delivers pesticide label safety information in English and Spanish and provides electronic copies of pesticide labels.  It will be updated continually using Washington State University’s Pesticide Information Center OnLine (PICOL) database.  A free version of the app is available that covers 40 pesticide labels.  A subscription to the service that covers over 300 pesticides and is updated is available for an annual service fee.
