Register Today for the WSPC Potato Academy!

Recognizing the need for more applied, grower-focused information, the Washington State Potato Commission (WSPC) is proud to host the 2026 WSPC Potato Academy on February 13, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Best Western Plus Lake Front Hotel in Moses Lake.

This one-day program will feature some of the Pacific Northwest’s leading applied scientists with extensive hands-on experience in potato research. Attendees will gain timely insights into current challenges and opportunities affecting potato production and the broader industry. Presenters will deliver engaging sessions and lead roundtable discussions to help participants apply new knowledge directly to their operations.

During registration, attendees will select one of two presentation tracks:

  • Potatoes 101 – A broad, introductory overview suitable for participants seeking a general understanding of the topics presented.
  • AP Potatoes – A deeper, more technical track offering advanced analysis and detailed discussion for those wanting an in-depth look at the issues.

Enjoy lunch with colleagues, growers, and industry partners while exploring how the information presented applies to your organization or operation.

Recognizing the need for more applied information for its growers, the Washington State Potato Commission (WSPC) will host the WSPC Potato Academy on January 30, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Red Lion Hotel in Pasco, Washington.

The Pacific Northwest’s finest applied scientists, all with extensive experience in potato research, will provide presentations and lead round-table discussions on issues affecting our crop and industry. This year, WSPC is introducing presentations geared to provide beginner and advanced presentations on each discussion topic. At the event, each attendee can decide which presentation they’d prefer to take part in to gain insight pertinent to their farm or industry.
