NRCS West Regional Conservationist Tours Odessa Groundwater Replacement Program

Astor Boozer, USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) regional conservationist for the West Region; Roylene Comes At Night, Washington state conservationist; and other NRCS staff toured the Odessa Groundwater Replacement Program (OGWRP) with OGWRP partners. The half-day event was coordinated by the Columbia Basin Conservation District (CBCD).

THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE (USDA) ANNOUNCES PLANS TO PURCHASE FRESH APPLES, PEARS, POTATOES, AND MIXED FRESH PRODUCE BOXES UNDER AUTHORITY OF THE COMMODITY CREDIT CORPORATION (CCC) CHARTER ACT.

Under the authority of Section 5 of the CCC charter act, the USDA made a pre-solicitation announcement of plans to purchase fresh apples, pears, potatoes, and mixed fresh produce boxes to distribute to various food nutrition assistance programs.
