Geordy Bryant Greene

Director of Government Affairs

Geordy Bryant Greene serves as the Director of Government Affairs for the Washington State Potato Commission. In this role, he leads the Commission’s advocacy on legislative, regulatory, and environmental issues at both the state and federal levels, representing Washington’s potato growers before agencies, legislatures, and trade partners.

Prior to joining the Commission, Geordy worked in Washington, D.C. for nearly three years for U.S. Representative Cathy McMorris Rodgers, where he focused on constituent services, communications, and agricultural policy. Most recently, he worked for Washington State University’s Office of External Affairs and Government Relations, helping advance WSU’s federal priorities and strengthen partnerships across the state’s agricultural and research communities.

A proud Washington State University alum, Geordy holds a degree in Political Science and is a devoted Cougar football season ticket holder—you can always find him in Pullman for Cougar Football Saturdays. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing (especially when it means meeting new people) and spending time with his fiancée and their dog, Daisy Beans, exploring all that Eastern Washington has to offer.
