Shashi Yellareddygari
Director of Research & Industry Outreach
Shashi Yellareddygari recently joined as the new Director of Research and Outreach. He brings extensive experience in agronomy, plant pathology, and applied research to the role.
Shashi most recently worked as an Agronomic Service Representative in Ohio, where he supported local sales performance by providing technical expertise and agronomic guidance to channel partners, sales representatives, and growers. He delivered localized, targeted product and technology insights to strengthen customer relationships and drive success in the field.
Previously, Shashi served as a Field Agronomist with Bayer, contributing to the discovery and development of fungicides, insecticides, herbicides, and seed treatment solutions. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Research Scientist at North Dakota State University (NDSU), focusing on potato disease management. His research on potato diseases has been widely published in peer-reviewed journals and remains a valuable contribution to the field.
Originally from India, Shashi earned his Ph.D. in Plant Pathology from Auburn University in Alabama and an M.S. in Plant Science from California State University, Fresno.
Outside of work, Shashi is an avid soccer and college football fan. He enjoys playing soccer, traveling, and spending time with his two children—Nevan (8) and Myra (5).
